Sales Engineer

Our client is a fast growing and industry-leading business based in Hertford, looking for a Sales Engineer to join their company due to growth. This is a fast-paced opportunity for somebody to work with a mix of mechanical and electrical faults.

The company view this role as crucial to its continued growth and development. The right person here will have a can-do attitude with the ability to understand technical products and the ability to build positive, long-term relationships. We’re needing proactive candidates that want to work right at the heart of a local, growing business.

The main responsibilities:

• Organising and conducting meetings with existing and prospect customers to secure new client accounts and projects.
• Completing follow ups and maintaining contact with customers on live projects.
• Completing quotations on new enquiries and projects, as well as answering general queries from customers.
• Going out to networking events with management to represent the business, and network with potential customers.
• Identify customer needs and determining the best solution for them by understanding technical requirements.
• Working closely with other business departments, ensuring a successful handover of projects.
