Sales Estimator Junior/Assistant

Position: Sales Estimator Junior/Assistant
Location: Bedfordshire
Reporting to: Sales Manager
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Job Purpose:
Assist in preparing cost estimates for construction projects, support the sales team in preparing proposals, and ensure accurate and timely submission of estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Support the sales team in preparing proposals and bids.
  • Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.
  • Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of estimates and project costs.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of construction processes and cost estimation.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively.

Training:

  • A full training scheme will be offered to ensure the Sales Estimator Junior/Assistant acquires the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the role.
