Location: Colchester or surrounding areas

Remuneration: £25,000 - £30,000

The role of the Sales Estimator - Precast Concrete will involve:

• Estimator position dealing with a range of high end manufactured precast concrete products such as flooring, stairs, beams & blocks
• Evaluating technical drawings to produce an accurate take-off/mark-up of the project
• Working closely with the client on all changes in scope, questions or clarifications regarding the work, during the tendering process
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
• Working closely with the sales & estimating teams to develop and implement lead generation
• Prioritise workload to ensure that project deadlines are met

The ideal applicant will be a Sales Estimator - Precast Concrete with:

• Ideally will have experience producing estimates within the construction industry
• Would consider architectural, architectural technician, design, order processor, draughtsman, draughtsperson or estimator background
• Knowledge of prestressed flooring, precast stairs, precast walls, prestressed walls, precast frames, precast columns and precast beams would be highly advantageous
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Full product training will be provided
• Confident and articulate
• High self-confidence, attention to detail and organisation skills
