Salary: Base £20,800 per year plus commission (£23K OTE)

Location: Glasgow and Central Belt

Reed is working with a thriving carpet and flooring company to recruit a new Sales Flooring Estimator for their expansion into the Scottish Central Belt. Ideally, we are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Sales and Flooring professional to provide top-notch consultations, measurements, and quotes directly in customer homes. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in the flooring industry looking to focus on customer service and sales.

Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role:

• Conduct in-home consultations to understand customer flooring needs and preferences.
• Measure rooms for flooring installations and create detailed, accurate quotes.
• Present flooring options using provided samples, showcasing product knowledge and expertise.
• Explain pricing structures and answer customer queries regarding products and services.
• Secure sales through excellent communication and customer service.
• Coordinate with the installation team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain high standard of customer service.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and exceed expectations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent work ethic with effective time management.
• Attention to detail with precise measurement skills.
• Flooring industry experience is beneficial but not essential as training is provided.
