Rates Sales Business Execution - 12 month contract, £602/day

The Rates Sales Business Execution team supports the combined Sales organization for Corporates and Institutional clients in Rates. The role reports to the Rates CAO. The candidate will be responsible for the overall administrative activities of the business in Europe and will help the broader Rates Sales Business Execution team with the global initiatives to support the business in its strategy & business development, as well as to maintain a robust 1st Line of Defense control environment and culture to minimize operational risk within the business. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proven ability to work together with multiple stakeholders across Markets, Compliance, Finance, HR, O&T and Risk. The role requires strong analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills that rely on influence and building effective partnerships to execute our business plans and controls in a systematic, measurable, and effective way.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Management

  • Assist Rates Sales Heads and Rates CAO in day-to-day management of the business
  • Support the business growth strategy and drive implementation of strategy
  • Manage Sales' plan, outlook processes, and oversee monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Understand financials and drivers
  • May work on ad hoc projects as requested

Governance, Risk & Controls

  • Assist in internal audit reviews, providing materials and address concerns arising from these reviews
  • Ensure the business is run in compliance with all internal and regulatory standards
  • Work with Sales to instill a strong culture of conduct and control
  • Business continuity activities
  • Review data for accuracy and create required reporting to manage the data

Human Capital Management

  • Ensure the people strategy and organizational capabilities are aligned to business strategy
  • Assist the business managing the headcount and hiring processes
  • Oversee VOE (Voice of Employee) cwork streams in partnership with Human Resources

Experience, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Understanding of markets; a minimum of 2 years relevant Markets experience
  • Understanding of the Risk and Controls environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Credibility to motivate and influence a diverse population of salespersons across geographies and functions
  • Superior problem-solving skills; pragmatic approach to ensure limited resources are directed appropriately
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
