Randox Testing Services is the market leader in the provision of drug and alcohol testing services, working to ensure safety and wellbeing in the workplace. Due to the increased recognition of the importance of drug and alcohol testing in the workplace and Randox Testing Services continued success, we are seeking to expand our UK sales team with the addition of highly motivated and target driven individual. Our staff are at the heart of everything we do and achieve. We have exciting new career opportunities for a Sales Executive in the Northwestern region of England.

Location: Remote, Homebased. Ideally based in Manchester or the surrounding area as travel will be required within the territory and potentially further afield.

Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 08.40 to 17.20.

What does the Sales Executive role involve?

This role is responsible for sales and promotion of Randox Testing Services throughout a wide range of industries, developing business with current customers as well as winning new business. In addition, the successful applicant will:

  • Prepare and use a planned sales approach / presentation, designed to achieve maximum results from available sales opportunities. This will include customer greeting; qualifying; handling objections; product presentation and demonstrations; closing and follow-up in line with the Randox Testing Services sales process.
  • Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge of Randox Testing Services products and Services, together with prices and key features of major competitors in their market.
  • Utilise the Randox Testing Services CRM system on a daily basis; to plan calls, when visiting customers and to capture customer and market information.
  • Handle all customer queries within a sufficient time frame (no longer than 48 hours), in a professional manner that ensures they are resolved. Complaints will be managed and escalated to RTS Quality upon receipt
  • Provide reports as required on all sales activities including follow-ups, new clients, etc.
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasts are generated.
  • Maintain in depth records of all sales activities, ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  • Complete the target number of visits per week.
  • Attend product and sales training courses / conferences as necessary to establish and maintain an adequate level of product knowledge and to keep updated, particularly on new products / competitor offerings.
  • Participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximise sales penetration.
  • Attend industry specific seminars and exhibitions as required.
  • Report field gathered intelligence to the Marketing Department.

Who can apply?

This role would suit someone with previous sales experience, or someone who possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

Other Essential criteria:

  • Be qualified to degree level / have sufficient experience gained over a minimum of 5 years.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent presentation skills in both construction of the presentation and delivery.
  • Computer skills in the use and application of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook and Excel.

Desirable:

  • Sales and / or Account Management experience with a proven track record.
  • Be able to communicate in English both verbally & written.
  • An awareness of Total Quality Management Systems.
  • A working knowledge of health and safety requirements.
