Are you a meticulous Accounts Assistant with a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail?

Our client, a reputable manufacturer renowned for their first-class customer approach, is seeking a dedicated Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work directly with the Financial Controller and further develop your accounting career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain sales ledger to trial balance.
  • Process sales invoices efficiently and accurately.
  • Set up new customer accounts, direct debits, and perform credit checks.
  • Chase and allocate payments promptly.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations.
  • Provide ad hoc accounts support as needed.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in similar accounts support role.
  • Current or working towards accounting qualifications (highly desirable).
  • Good understand of VAT, UK & International
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and experience with accounting softwares

Package:
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm
  • £27,000 - £30,000pa DOE
