Remote – Covering whole of UK and occasionally reporting into head office in Kings Lynn

£50,000-£60,000

Company car, 8% pension scheme, BUPA, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, Christmas shutdown

The role

We are a family-owned business established for 34 years. We are known for the design, manufacture and installation of top-quality food handling, preparation, processing and packaging equipment and systems. Due to the expansion of our customer base, we are looking for a Sales Manager to promote and sell our products to new and existing customers and generate new business.

The right candidate will be exposed to our range of equipment which includes vibratory and belt conveyors, tippers, washers, blanchers, graders and a range of bespoke applications. You will be working from home and occasionally going to see customers who are located up and down the country.

  • Proven track record selling processing machinery and handling equipment to the food industry – minimums 5 years.
  • First year target will be £750,000 T/O – 40-50% to come from existing key accounts.
  • Order value range is between £10,000 – £250,000 for machines and up to £1M for lines/systems.
  • We have a blue-chip client base with companies specialising in fresh / frozen ready meals, salads and canning industries. We are also diversifying into the snacks sector
  • Reporting to the MD and managing companies of one other salesperson
  • Qualification in engineering discipline is advantageous but not essential

In return

My client is paying up to £60,000 + commission and will provide a company car as well as private health insurance. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established family owned company.
