An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading global manufacturer and distributor as a Sales & Operations Manager.  Our client is a vibrant and passionate group of people who enjoy working collaboratively to achieve continued success and phenomenal global growth.  Their product design and innovative approach are key to their success.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, we are looking for a confident Sales and Operations Planner who has a “can-do- attitude”.  Personal character, attitude and supply chain experience are primary requisites. We are looking for demonstratable experience in Supply Planning chain ( Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, or I nventory Planning ) and or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.

You must be an Excel wiz and have solid forecasting and ERP experience. Ideally, you will have a Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics degree. CIPS or APICS would be a huge benefit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continually develop statistical models to optimise the performance of the forecasting software .
• Review and analyse forecast demand versus actual demand , understanding changes and trends.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure future promotions, visible impact orders, and new product forecasts are included in aggregate demand.
• Assist sales in resolving short-term key supply challenges by allocating stock across relevant sales channels.
• Share monthly 18 months' forecasts.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of demand planning and S&OP processes.
• Measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics.
