Due to continued success, our Client is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Sales Order Desk Coordinator to join their Operations team.

Working as part of a small team, looking after both UK and International Customers, the job holder will be responsible for managing the Customer Orders from receipt to despatch.

The Role
  • Provide initial contact for Customer Sales Order queries, whilst ensuring responses are professional and timely.
  • Process and enter Customer Orders within a measurable turn around time, and with the highest levels of administrative accuracy. 
  • Monitor delivery commitments to Customers and progress any orders which are at risk of not meeting promised dates.
  • Communicate with many internal Departments – Production/Purchasing/Logistics/Technical Support etc. to ensure any queries or problems with Orders are smoothly dealt with.
You will be a highly motivated, team player that is committed to  providing excellent customer service and to.

  • Load sales orders onto the business (ERP) system
  • Process despatch notes
  • Calculate delivery dates
  • Process delivery confirmations for customers
  • Communicate with customers to respond to delivery queries
  • Work with the Purchasing and Logistics teams to resolve supply issues
