Sales Representative

Scotland central belt.

£35-40k DOE + Company Car

James George Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturer, supplier, with a footprint across 20 offices and depots in the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe in their search for a Sales Representative.

About the Role:

We're in search of a Regional Sales Executive based in the Scotland central belt region. This role calls for a focus on both business development (70%) and account management of existing clients (30%). The ideal candidate should possess the ability to build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop business in the South region, staying informed about customer needs and competitor activities.
  • Conduct cold calls, both remotely and on-site.
  • Organize site visits and meetings for relationship-building purposes.
  • Identify opportunities to engage with key personnel in client organizations.
  • Prepare customer quotes.
  • Collaborate with the senior Sales/Management team to implement the company's strategic initiatives.

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • A full driving license is essential.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in MS Office packages, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication skills for effective engagement with stakeholders.
  • Experience in a plant or tool hire background would be advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.

  • Competitive salary - up to 40K DOE
