Timber Trader

Our client is a leading importer of timber products in East Anglia, is experiencing continued growth and is now offering an exciting opportunity for a highly driven, customer-focused, and outgoing individual to join our team as a Timber Trader.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work as part of the sales team to provide reliable, quality customer service while representing the company’s products and services.
  • Achieve sales targets by taking customer orders via phone and email.
  • Provide high-quality customer service with in-depth product knowledge.
  • Generate new leads and establish, develop, and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Resolve any customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Enter orders accurately and efficiently onto the company systems.
  • Opportunity to attend shows and exhibitions to represent the company.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support wider office teams, including the preparation of sales reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude and the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to provide high-quality customer service.
  • In-depth product knowledge or willingness to learn.
  • Efficient in handling administrative tasks and using company systems.
  • Experience in sales is beneficial, but not essential as training is provided.
