Job Title: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Software Engineer
Location: Remote- Anywhere from UK & Europe
Type: Contract
Experience: 4+ years

About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Software Engineer to join our team supporting the Bank’s Customer Communications Management (CCM) product. In this role, you will design, build, and support scalable communication solutions across email, SMS, and push channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and document scalable solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Web Studio/Cloud Pages).

  • Translate business needs into robust, actionable marketing workflows.

  • Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with external systems via APIs.

  • Provide production support and incident management, including occasional out-of-hours support.

Required Skills & Certifications:

  • Proven experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator & Certified Marketing Cloud Developer

  • Strong hands-on skills with SQL, AMPscript, SSJS/JavaScript, and HTML

  • Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, TLS/SSL, and data encryption

  • Familiarity with mobile app SDKs and API-based integrations

Nice to Have:

  • Java development experience

  • Exposure to Agile methodologies

You Bring:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills

  • The ability to work independently and within a team
