My client, a Government agency in Southwest England (Devon) require a Security Cleared AWS Developer to join them on an initial 5-month term with scope for extension thereafter.

The role is INSIDE IR35, requires ad-hoc attendance on-site (Exeter) & is paying a maximum of £685 per day

Job Purpose

As our Developer the key duties are:

  • Develop, configure and support the consumer digital platform which provides key data to the public website and mobile apps.
  • Maintain an understanding of current and emerging cloud technologies (AWS Primarily)
  • Support and Mentor Junior team members and share knowledge and experience across the wider tribe.
  • Regularly communicating progress with relevant stakeholders

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

  1. Experience of developing and supporting resilient, Secure and scalable services in the Cloud.
  2. Proven knowledge and experience of using Python and AWS Developer Kit.
  3. Previous experience of working within an Agile based tribe environment.
  4. Demonstrate an enthusiasm for working in IT and an ability to solve abstract IT problems and provide efficient and effective solutions in a timely manner
  5. Show evidence of an organized and structured approach to work
  6. A proven ability to communicate easily, enthusiastically, and professionally with a range of customers
  7. Good team-working skills and when appropriate the ability to work to your own initiative
  8. An ability to work to demanding timescales
