They are seeking an Office Administrator / Maintenance Scheduler to join their family business specialising in the windows and doors industry. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with excellent communication skills, a high attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. The position involves a variety of tasks including client interaction, scheduling, and office management, with the potential for extension beyond the initial term for the right candidate.

12-month fix term contact  

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Answering calls professionally and assisting with enquiries.
  • Entering job details onto the computer system and scheduling jobs with customers.
  • Ordering materials and stationery as required.
  • Managing filing, shredding, and scanning documents.
  • Assisting with deliveries and managing stock control.
  • Preparing and sending quotes to customers, as well as raising invoices.
  • Engaging in marketing activities and managing social media presence.
  • Responding to emails and handling general enquiries with strong written skills.
  • Managing the diary and ensuring efficient day-to-day office operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Positive attitude towards learning and personal development.
  • Confidence in telephone communication and email correspondence.
  • Good written skills for responding to enquiries and managing documentation.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Experience in an administrative role would be advantageous.
