Reed Business Support are delighted to be working in partnership with our well-established client based in Rochester, who are seeking an organised and proactive Engineering Scheduler to join their busy and growing team.

The role:

This is a key position ensuring the smooth scheduling of engineering works, coordinating between clients and field engineers to deliver outstanding service. You’ll be a vital part of the operations team, keeping everything running like clockwork.

Key responsibilities:

  • Schedule and allocate work to engineers across multiple sites
  • Act as the main point of contact for client queries and updates
  • Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met
  • Maintain and update internal systems and scheduling software
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors as required
  • Provide general administrative support to the engineering and operations teams

About you:

  • Previous experience in a scheduling, coordination, or planning role (ideally within an engineering or technical environment)
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload
  • A positive, solutions-focused attitude with strong attention to detail
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and scheduling systems
