Schemes Underwriter

Maidstone (only 2 days in the office/3 from home)

£30,000 - £32,000

Barker Munro recruitment has a rare opportunity for you to cross over from Commercial broking into Underwriting within this expanding team. You can also be considered if you already have underwriting or delegated authority experience, of course, but it is not essential.

The amazing role is based within the dynamic schemes team in either the Maidstone or Croydon branch. You will play a key role in building and maintaining our scheme business account, bind scheme business in accordance with delegated authority and understand and implement strategies to ensure good performance and profitability of the schemes.

You will be joining a team of 17 who over the last 24 months have doubled in size. The commercial schemes division is rapidly growing and ready for the next successful employee to join their team. Within a highly supportive team, you will be expanding your underwriting experience with the opportunity to gain professional qualifications and forming part of an industry leading insurance broker.

If you have great communication skills, have a good eye for detail and can prioritise your workload, these are skills my client is seeking.

You will be rewarded with an impressive list of company benefits and superb career progression and training.

If you would like to apply for this Schemes Underwriting role and have Commercial insurance experience within a Broker, company or MGA, please send your CV to Barker Munro Recruitment by using the relevant link.
