School Caretaker - Secondary School in Beckenham

We’re currently recruiting for a School Caretaker to join a secondary school in Beckenham. This is a long-term position starting as soon as possible.

The Role: You’ll be responsible for the general maintenance, security, and upkeep of the school site. Duties will include opening and closing the school, carrying out basic repairs, keeping the premises clean and safe, and supporting with day-to-day operational needs.

• Location: Beckenham

• Start date: ASAP

• Type: Long-term, ongoing

• Hours: Shift work - early and/or late shifts, depending on the school's needs

What the School is Looking For:

• Someone reliable, practical, and flexible

• Previous caretaking or maintenance experience is helpful but not essential

• A good team player who can also work independently

• Someone who is comfortable working in a school setting and around young people
