Connaught Education is supporting a high calibre independent senior school for boys, based in Surrey in appointing a Caretaker on a full time, permanent basis.

The school in question is part of a group of three fee paying educational establishments providing an exceptional level of education to pupils between the ages of 2 to 18 years old.

The successful Caretaker will join the school's estate team and be involved in multiple aspects of school maintenance, painting, repairs and much more. Ideally the appointed Caretaker will possess the following skill set:

  • Experience in a trade (painting/electrician/plumbing/construction etc)
  • Previous work experience in a school or college
  • There will be a need for the postholder to drive the school minibus as part of being a member of the Estates team to cover driver absences. A D1 category on the postholder's licence, whilst not essential, would be highly desirable. MIDAS training will be provided.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy estates team with one of Surrey's most renowned independent schools.
