Rate: £14.50 to £20.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Introduction: We are a renowned education agency representing a dynamic Secondary School in Slough, London. We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled School Caretaker to join our support staff. This position offers a competitive hourly rate between £14.50 and £20.50, depending on your experience and expertise.

Responsibilities: As a School Caretaker, you will be essential in maintaining a safe and functional environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Site Management: Ensuring the general upkeep, cleanliness, and maintenance of the school buildings and grounds.
  2. Security: Implementing security measures to protect the premises, including monitoring access and responding to emergencies.
  3. Health and Safety: Conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  4. Maintenance: Performing minor repairs and coordinating with external contractors for more extensive maintenance needs.
  5. Events Support: Assisting in the setup and organization of events within the school premises.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a School Caretaker or in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the school community.
