Position: Finance Business Partner

Duration: Permanent

Work Type: - Hybrid position with travel to schools in the West Midlands

Salary: £41,000 - £45,000

Macildowie Recruitment are working on behalf of a Multi Academy Trust based in Birmingham to appoint a Finance Business Partner to join their central team. This post is responsible for the liaising and guidance of budgets with individual Head Teachers for their partnered schools across the West Midlands as well as assisting with month and year-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce monthly management accounts and financial planning and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with Financial Regulations.
• Develop and implement finance procedures.
• Partner with Head Teachers on budgets and associated financial matters.
• Assist with Trust-wide finance processes.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in forecasting, budgeting and management accounts
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills.
• Experience in education would be desired but not essential
• While a full accounting qualification is ideal, we also welcome candidates with relevant experience in the education sector. Multi-site exposure and strong financial acumen are essential.
