Position Overview:

We are on the hunt for a passionate and skilled School Premises Manager to lead the charge in maintaining our state-of-the-art facilities. This is your chance to make a tangible impact, ensuring our school is a safe, welcoming, and inspiring place for students and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Management: Take the helm of our school’s daily operations and maintenance, ensuring our buildings and grounds are in top-notch condition.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Be the main point of contact for safety, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments to ensure we meet and exceed health and safety standards.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and inspire a dedicated team of cleaners, maintenance staff, and contractors to achieve excellence.
  • Budget Management: Craft and manage budgets for maintenance, repairs, and improvements, ensuring we deliver value and efficiency.
  • Project Management: Spearhead exciting refurbishment projects, from planning to execution, transforming our school environment.
  • Security Oversight: Implement and monitor robust security measures to keep our campus safe.
  • Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders, addressing facilities-related concerns with professionalism and care.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in premises management, ideally within a complex educational setting.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed.
  • Relevant qualifications in facilities management or a related discipline.
