About the role
This school is on the lookout for a motivated and diligent School Premises Officer to manage and maintain their school facilities and grounds. This is a key role that supports the smooth daily operation of the school and contributes to a welcoming and safe environment for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the security and safety of the school premises, including opening and locking up daily.
- Conduct routine inspections and carry out minor repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Oversee cleanliness and upkeep across all areas of the site.
- Liaise with external contractors and service providers for specialised work.
- Maintain accurate health and safety records and ensure compliance.
- Act swiftly to respond to emergencies and unexpected situations.
Key Requirements
- Experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
- Work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Understand and follow health and safety regulations.
- Communicate professionally and work collaboratively with the school team.
