Science Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Harrow, Secondary School

Salary: £90 to £100 per day (dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time, Long Term

Working Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Are you a recent Science graduate with a passion for education? Are you looking to kickstart your career in teaching? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a reputable Secondary School in Harrow. This opportunity is offered through our education agency, working on behalf of the school.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Science department in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional help.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Science or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Genuine passion for education and supporting student learning.
  • The ability to work well within a team.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is advantageous but not essential.
