As a Secondary Science Teacher, you will inspire and engage students in the fascinating world of science. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality science lessons, fostering a love for learning, and helping students achieve their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching strategies.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the overall educational experience for students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Science or a related field, to become a science teacher at their school.
  • Proven experience as a Science Teacher at the secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching science.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, to succeed as a science teacher within their science department.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
