Science Teacher - Chichester

Science Teacher | D2D / LT/ Perm | June 2024 | Chichester

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teachers to work in a variety of roles throughout Sussex. As a Science Teacher, you will be expected to create engaging lesson plans, deliver lessons, and conduct practical experiments to help students understand scientific concepts.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfil the requirements of the curriculum.
- Prepare classroom activities and assignments that are both educational and interactive.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through tests, quizzes, and other assignments.
- Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom discussions.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of science education.

Requirements:
- QTS / PGCE / NARIC
- Proven experience as a Science Teacher.
- Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
