Science Teacher - Woking, UK
Quantum Scholars are working alongside a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Woking, who are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Science to students across Key Stages 3-5.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities and learning styles.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department to develop and refine curriculum content.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and events that promote the love of Science.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment, adhering to school policies on health and safety.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stages 4 and 5 is highly desirable.
- A passion for Science and the ability to inspire enthusiasm in students.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of behavior.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to contribute to the broader school community.
