Day-to-day of the role:

• Set high expectations for learners to ensure they achieve their full educational potential.
• Establish challenging teaching and learning objectives that are relevant to all students in your classes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of various assessment approaches, including questioning, oral assessment, and self-assessment.
• Maintain a secure understanding of your subject(s) and related pedagogy to teach effectively at the Academy.
• Take responsibility for your professional development by reviewing your performance, acting upon advice/feedback, and staying informed about current developments in good practice.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
• Passion for creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the academy’s values and ethos.
