Location: Chesham
Are you passionate about teaching science and making a positive impact on young lives? We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher for a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the Chesham area. This is a part-time position, two days a week, with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.
About the Role:
- Position: Part-Time Science Teacher
- Schedule: 2 days a week
- Location: Chesham
- Salary: Competitive, paid to scale, including SEN allowance
- Contract: Potential for permanent placement
Qualifications:
- Open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers
- Previous experience in alternative provision or SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) schools is desirable but not essential
- A passion for working with teenagers exhibiting challenging behaviours and adjacent mental health needs is essential
