Science Teacher- Chesham- Education and Training- Science Teacher- Chesham

Location: Chesham

Are you passionate about teaching science and making a positive impact on young lives? We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher for a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the Chesham area. This is a part-time position, two days a week, with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.

About the Role:

  • Position: Part-Time Science Teacher
  • Schedule: 2 days a week
  • Location: Chesham
  • Salary: Competitive, paid to scale, including SEN allowance
  • Contract: Potential for permanent placement

Qualifications:

  • Open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers
  • Previous experience in alternative provision or SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) schools is desirable but not essential
  • A passion for working with teenagers exhibiting challenging behaviours and adjacent mental health needs is essential
