Are you a passionate and experienced Science teacher looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Science teacher to join our team at a 'Good' rated school in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in the fields of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

Responsibilities

- Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons that captivate and challenge students.
- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive and dynamic science curriculum that meets educational standards.
- Student Assessment: Regularly assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth.
- Laboratory Work: Conduct practical experiments and laboratory work, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Extra-Curricular Activities: Lead and participate in extra-curricular activities such as science clubs, fairs, and competitions.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends and scientific advancements.

Requirements

- Education: A degree in Science or a related field and a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
- Experience: Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
- Passion for Science: A deep passion for Science and the ability to convey this enthusiasm to students.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Classroom Management: Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the school community.
