We are seeking a Science Teacher to join an independent school in Leatherhead. The successful candidate will be a well-qualified, enthusiastic, and experienced educator with a passion for teaching and a commitment to providing a high-quality education to students.

• Lead and inspire students in the study of science, fostering a love for the subject.
• Teach Science subjects, ensuring at least one is delivered to GCSE level.
• Embrace and contribute to the school’s aims and objectives, actively participating in school improvement initiatives.
• Monitor, evaluate, and review pupil attainment to ensure consistent progress.
• Employ creative problem-solving to support student progression.
• Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons, utilising support from the central education team.
• Set and mark homework in accordance with departmental and school policies.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Relevant and successful teaching experience in Science.
• Proven ability to plan, resource, and deliver effective learning experiences across all age groups.
• Inspirational and motivational approach to pupil learning.
• Experience in successful team working and collaboration.
• Ability to create engaging learning resources for students of all abilities.
• Strong commitment to self-evaluation and using data to inform planning and teaching.
