A Science Teacher is needed in an All-Girls Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Science Teacher position will be full time and if appointed, you will be needed from September 2024 to July 2025 in the first instance.

Teaching for this Science Teacher role will be for KS3 and KS4 classes.

The team will endeavour to give the appointed Science Teacher as many lessons as possible for their specialist subject.

The rates of pay for this Science Teacher post will range from £180 to £270 a day, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.

The School

A high successful All-Girls Academy.

They are an 11 to 19 Comprehensive School, with a mixed Sixth Form.

Ofsted has rated the school as 'Good' across the board. It is also 1 of only 2 Secondary Schools in London and 1 of 16 in the UK, to have been awarded the highest level of the UNICEF Rights Respecting School Award: Level 2.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are a recently qualified Science Teacher or experienced Science Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Science Teacher or overseas trained Science Teacher.

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up to date DBS
  • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
  • Experience of teaching as a Science Teacher in UK schools
