Our client is an ambitious academy catering for students from11 to 16 in the heart of Doncaster. The setting has gone from strength tostrength in recent years, supported by their forward-thinking multi-academytrust. The school are looking for a passionate teacher to join their thriving science department on a long-term basis. This job would be full-time, acting on a temporary basis, and would require an experienced Science teacher who is able to deliver engaging lessons to help the students' progress towards their goals.As well as delivering lessons, you would also be required to keep track of students' progress and provide a positive environment for them to progress,whilst also engaging with other faculty members to maintain standards within the school.

The ideal teacher for this role will have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT working towards QTS
  • Good computer literacy
  • Confidence in delivering strong lessons to large groups
  • Enthusiasm for their subject and strong subject knowledge
  • Good communication, team work and organisational skills
  • An understanding of health and safety in a laboratory setting
  • Experience of teaching up to KS4
