An oversubscribed secondary school located in the borough of Ealing is searching for an experienced Science Technician to join their team of dedicated professionals to start for the new academic year September 2024.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in science education and extensive experience providing technical assistance to both teachers and students.

The Science Technician role encompasses various duties, including but not limited to:

  • Preparing and setting up lab equipment and materials for practical-based lessons
  • Maintaining and procuring lab supplies and equipment
  • Assisting teachers in delivering science lessons
  • Supervising students during practical sessions
  • Ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and safe for use

This is a full-time (5 day per week) temporary-to-permanent position, commencing in September 2024. To be considered for this exciting opportunity as a science technician, candidates must:

  • Be available to work full-time
  • Have a high-level degree
  • Commit for at least 2 terms
  • Possess an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks
  • Provide a CV that covers the past 10 years of employment history, if possible
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
