I have an opportunity for an experienced Scrum Master to join a leading company based in the Humberside region, overseeing the Scrum practices of 2 independent teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ commercial experience and will be able to make an instant impact, positively affecting the team dynamic and improving the existing Scrum practices.

Working in a fast paced and demanding operational environment, a key part of the role will involve making meetings more concise and efficient – ensuring that the development team is as focused as can be.

Having exceptional interpersonal skills is essential to the role, being able to nurture a dedicated team dynamic and mediate disagreements. Your input must be constructive and benefit the overall function of the team.

As a vital part of the organisational structure of the team, you will need to work in the office on days in which your team(s) are office based.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience as a Scrum Master
  • Exceptional interpersonal / soft skills
  • Ability to reliably commute to the Humberside area
  • Demonstrable experience using Scrum methodologies and agile principles
  • Can provide criticism in a fair & constructive way
  • Hybrid working – 3 days per week minimum in office
