We have an exciting opportunity for a Scrum Master to join the Macquarie Asset Management Private Markets Technology team, working closely with highly collaborative technology and business teams to drive a stream of data system and platform changes and enhancements. This is a great opportunity to work in the private equity space for one of Macquarie's most successful global divisions.

What role will you play?

In this dynamic role, you will demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills to oversee and support the delivery of technical data products, system integrations and enhancements, fixes for production support, and service uplifts by our technical team. You will take part in all aspects of the delivery life cycle in our continuous improvement of the platform, with initiatives ranging from building new capabilities, enhancing current functionality, and rolling out issue fixes to support our production environment. You will also work with a global and diverse technology team for Private Markets primarily based in London but also Gurugram, and Sydney. Your role will be driving the scrum framework and work through prioritisation directly with the product owner and other business stakeholders.

What you offer

  • Minimum 6+ years' experience as a Scrum Master, ideally in Financial Services
  • Strong experience in planning sprints, running daily scrums, facilitating estimation and prioritisation sessions and sprint reviews
  • Proficiency in processes and tools using JIRA and Confluence
  • Proven track record of success with communicating with stakeholders, facilitating user stories and requirements discussions, and shipping sprints on time
  • Confident in performing analysis for early scoping, embracing change and planning activities accordingly with a hands-on attitude
  • Foster a supportive, self-organising team, and co-ordinate and build positive relationships across multiple time zones
