IT Project Manager - Outside IR35

About the Role:

Our client is embarking on a large-scale SD-WAN rollout across 13 countries. They seek an experienced IT Project Manager to lead multiple workstreams in this fast-paced programme.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of the SD WAN project.
  • Develop and manage project plans within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure complete network coverage and engagement.
  • Oversee suppliers’ delivery elements.
  • Provide regular updates to the SD WAN Programme Manager.
  • Coordinate with retail to agree on dates and access.
  • Facilitate handovers to billing, account management, and service desk teams.
  • Update the asset log and manage MPLS network decommissioning.
  • Organise workshops and cutover processes with underlay providers.
  • Lead mixed matrix resources to deliver workstreams.


Requirements

Essential:

  • 3+ years of IT project management experience.
  • Managed an SD WAN upgrade programme.
  • Experience with SD WAN Overlay and Internet Access Underlay.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage risks and issues effectively.
  • Formal project management qualifications.


Preferable:

  • Experience in an ITIL environment.
  • Managed network projects for medium to large organisations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in IT.
  • Willingness to travel and flexible working hours.
