A Portsmouth based freight forwarder is looking to recruit a Sea and Airfreight Coordinator to join their expanding team in this exciting growth stage If you are a self-motivated individual looking to progress your career in a fast-paced environment then this could be the role for you.

Role

You will be responsible for arranging export and import shipments via sea and air freight. You will be managing shipments from initial quotation through to final delivery. The successful candidate will be negotiating rates with carriers, quoting customers for future work plus create/ update orders on the correct software used. In this role you will need too process and check all paperwork such as bills of lading, invoices, and documents plus emails.

Essential Criteria:

• Experience of Sea and Air Freight
• Freight Forwarding / Shipping
• Communication skills
• Keen & can-do attitude

Salary & Benefits:

This company are looking to pay around £28k – 32k for the right person and depending on your experience. For this role their will be the option of hybrid working after completion of probation period.
