We are looking for an Export Operator with experience in Sea Exports. This role is working for a well established company with a longstanding team. 

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing end to end shipments for regular customers. The company ship from from various locations.

Main duties to include:

• Managing exports for regular clients from start to finish
• Obtaining the best prices from carriers and negotiating rates
• Ensuring customers have the correct solution that meets their needs
• Ensure all shipments have the correct documentation
• Update customers and carriers with any changes
• Resolve queries relating to lost, damaged or delayed shipments
• Handling customs clearance
• Responsible for the costing and billing on files
• Quotation experience an advantage

We are looking for:

• Experience of managing sea exports 
• Experience in a freight forwarder or similar business
• Excellent communication skills
• Someone who is organised and sees tasks through to completion
• Ability to work to deadlines

Salary: £25k-£35k - may go slightly higher for the right person
Hours: 9am-5.30pm
Office based, in Bradford - good transport links and parking available
23 days holiday + bank holidays and days rise with yearly service
