Academics Ltd is looking for a passionate Art & Design/Music Teacher to join our team, working in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting in the South Yorkshire Area. This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact the lives of young people who need it most.

• Engage & Inspire: Develop and deliver engaging Art & Design and Music lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
• Nurture Growth: Foster a supportive classroom environment where every student can thrive.
• Collaborate: Work with the SEN team to create individualized learning plans.
• Innovate: Use innovative teaching methods to inspire creativity and confidence in students.
• Assess & Support: Monitor student progress, providing feedback to encourage development.

• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience: Working with SEN students is highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong subject knowledge in Art & Design and Music, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attributes: Patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Checks: DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.

• Competitive Pay: Rates between £140 and £210 per day, depending on experience.
