Job Advertisement: Experienced Art Technician Needed

Are you an experienced Art Technician looking for a full-time role in a dynamic secondary school environment? LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Art Technician to join a secondary school in the Wembley area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting the arts and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, set up, and maintain art equipment and materials for classes.
  • Assist teachers and students during art lessons, providing technical support and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Manage and organise the art room, including inventory and ordering of supplies.
  • Maintain and repair art equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
  • Support in the setup of exhibitions and displays of students' artwork.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the art department.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Art Technician in an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in handling various art materials and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed by the school.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
