Secondary Cover Teacher

A secondary school based in Brighton teaches the ages of 11-16 and is searching for an organised and motivated secondary cover teacher to work on a daily basis. This school ensures staff, students, parents and the community work as a team with a single shared goal which is to make our children feel safe, supported, challenged and celebrated for who they are and what they achieve.

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons
  • Adaptable to the students learning needs
  • Being able to work effectively in a team and with support staff
  • Excellent classroom/behaviour management and keeping an engaging environment
  • Relay concise and clear feedback of the lesson

Requirements of working as a Secondary Cover Teacher:

  • A degree along with relevant teaching qualifications (ie PGCE)
  • QTS is desirable
  • Ideally experience teaching in a primary setting
  • Strong commitment and a positive attitude to the role and objectives
