Job Title: English/Drama Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Learning:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English and Drama that meet the needs of all students.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Prepare students for national examinations in both subjects.
- Integrate technology and innovative practices into the curriculum.

Curriculum Development:
- Contribute to the development and review of the English and Drama curriculum.
- Ensure lessons are aligned with the school’s educational goals and standards.
- Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans.

Assessment and Reporting:
- Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ achievements and progress.
- Prepare and present reports on students’ performance to parents and school leadership.

Classroom Management:
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Foster a culture of respect and collaboration among students.

Extra-Curricular Activities:
- Organize and participate in extra-curricular activities related to English and Drama, such as school plays, drama clubs, and literary events.
- Encourage student participation in these activities to enhance their learning experience.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Degree in English, Drama, or a related field.
- Experience teaching English and Drama at the secondary school level.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students.
