Role Overview:

The Geography Teacher will be essential in delivering outstanding geography education to secondary school students. You will employ innovative teaching strategies to spark students’ interest in geographical issues, landscapes, and the complexities of human and physical environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging geography lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Differentiate instruction to cater to the varied learning needs and styles of students.
• Incorporate the use of technology and real-world case studies to make geography relevant and exciting.
• Regularly assess student understanding and provide feedback to foster academic growth.
• Collaborate with other geography teachers to develop a comprehensive and supportive geography curriculum.

Requirements:

• Degree in Geography or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching geography at the secondary level.
• A strong grasp of geographical concepts and a passion for the subject.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
