Your new school
This school is a mixed 11 - 18 comprehensive school based in RCT. The leadership team communicate their visions very effectively and create a highly supportive and inclusive environment for the pupils to thrive. The school has high teaching standards and encourage the pupils to express themselves.

Your new role
Starting in September, you will join the Music department within the school and be responsible for:

  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 Music.
  • Full planning, preparation and assessment duties.
  • Actively taking part in departmental meetings.
  • Pastoral duties including parent's evenings.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified teacher registered with the Education Workforce Council with previous experience of teaching Music at KS4 level within a secondary school. You will:

  • Hold a valid PGCE.
  • Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils.
  • Up to date EWC registration.
