Secondary Music Teacher
One of our clients in Beijing, China, a well-established Private Bilingual International School is looking to appoint an experienced Secondary Music Teacher to start at the end of August 2025 as part of the annual recruitment.
The privately-owned school educates the local Chinese community from Nursery age to Year 13, following the Chinese National Curriculum, enriched and enhanced by the Cambridge CAIE whilst following the IGCSE and IBDP at Secondary age. You will be expected to teach Music (Focus on vocal performance) within the Secondary section of the school.
Beijing, China’s sprawling capital, has history stretching back 3 millennia. Yet it’s known as much for modern architecture as its ancient sites such as the grand Forbidden City complex, the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The transportation in Beijing is convenient, with an extensive subway system and ring-roads that will take you wherever your sense of adventure will lead you.
Requirements:
UK / Irish / US / Australian / New Zealand / Canadian / South African qualified
Recent Secondary Music (IGCSE or IB) teaching experience
Bachelors Degree and teaching qualification
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
Package:
Salary range from 30,000 RMB to 35,000 RMB per month Gross
(£38,900 / 50,600 USD to £45,400 / 59,000 USD per annum)
Tax / Deductions = 30%
