Exciting Opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant!

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school located in Oldbury. The position is set to commence in September with both full and part-time options available.
The role offers a competitive daily rate ranging from £83.33 to £95.00.
The successful candidate will be working with pupils aged 11-16 years who have a range of needs, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. This role requires a 1:1 approach, providing tailored support to help each student reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with SEMH.
  • Assist in the development of individual education plans.
  • Encourage positive student behaviour and learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student's needs.


About You:

  • Experience in an SEN setting is desirable.
  • A passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and resilient personality.
