Are you passionate about education and looking for a fulfilling role? A Cardiff based High School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our diverse and vibrant team. Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Cathays High School

Contract: Long-term and ad hoc supply

Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Salary: £12.82 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of learning activities
  • Support individual students and small groups in their academic journey
  • Contribute to creating a safe and stimulating learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to enhance educational outcomes

Desirable Qualities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Experience in an educational setting is advantageous
  • The ability to speak a second language is highly desirable to cater to the diverse needs of our pupils
