Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in daily classroom activities and provide support to students.
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
  • Help maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive and safe learning atmosphere.
  • Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant or a similar role is advantageous.
  • Experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is highly desirable.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
