We are recruiting for a Security Complaince Officer in Central London on a mixed use building (offices/retail)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7am - 7pm

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Package: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

  • Work alongside the Facilities Manager, Receptionist, Cleaner, Night Security Officers, and Engineers to ensure seamless building operations.
  • Maintain proactive communication with the team, ensuring efficient coordination.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with tenants and visitors.
  • Manage and distribute post and parcels efficiently.
  • Issue permits to work and oversee contractor activities.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the building, ensuring security and safety compliance, particularly checking vacant floors and reporting issues to management.
  • Maintain a log of defects, reporting them to the Facilities Manager, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Escort visitors in lifts using key fobs where necessary.
  • Supervise the two security officers, monitoring their performance, punctuality, uniform compliance, and ensuring proper handover notes are documented.
  • Perform health and safety checks, ensuring stairwells remain clear and any hazards are reported promptly.
  • Oversee soft and hard service delivery, providing feedback on contractor performance and ensuring completed works meet required standards.
  • Utilise computer-aided systems to log incidents, communicate with the team, and upload necessary documents for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
